This country has far more important things to worry about than when a celebrity overdoes on drugs. I think this chatroom has done a good job of discussing the important issues of our time, but recently its starting to look like a tabloid! C'mon, do we really need to decide between a Range Rover or an Escalade? And now this posting about Heath Ledger? If I wanted to read/discuss these social issues I will turn on The View.
We have more important issues facing our lives today. For instance has anyone been watching the ticker latley? Our stock market took a big hit today and the financial future of this great country is bleak, yet we want to put a headline about a drug overdose.
Yeserday, during our national holiday (when our market was silent) the world's economy came tumbling down with markets in China, Japan, Europe, and South America having "great depression-like" precursors. It was only a matter of time this morning before our market felt the ripple effect too.
While some may be saddened by this unfortunate news with regards to Heath Ledger, I think a little perspective is in order.
This story sucks. How's this a conservative issue. In my opinion the Napalm should start his own site. He is the only one with unique views. Please no more fluff my time is valuable.
