Illegal Immigrants do not put a huge burden on the government, that’s just anti-illegal racists blowing it out of proportion, right?

New statistics from the Department of Public Social Services reveal that illegal aliens and their families in Los Angeles County collected over $37 million in welfare and food stamp allocations in November 2007 – up $3 million dollars from September, announced Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
Twenty five percent of the all welfare and food stamps benefits is going directly to the children of illegal aliens. Illegals collected over $20 million in welfare assistance for November 2007 and over $16 million in monthly food stamp allocations for a projected annual cost of $444 million.
“This new information shows an alarming increase in the devastating impact Illegal immigration continues to have on Los Angeles County taxpayers,” said Antonovich. “With $220 million for public safety, $400 million for healthcare, and $444 million in welfare allocations, the total cost for illegal immigrants to County taxpayers far exceeds $1 billion a year – not including the millions of dollars for education.”
This is just one county in one state! One billion dollars a year paid by Los Angeles County taxpayers for illegal immigrants. Mind blowing.

Mind blowing is an understatement. It's one thing if the majority of the illegal immigrants came to our country to embrace our culture, our language, and our values. Instead, most of them break our laws to get here, and then continue that streak that leads to further lawlessness. It represents a threatening aspect of our society without including the financial burden. Illegal immigration is the without question a significant issue of our time. The problem is which politician will have the courage to take a real stance to stop it.
I read an email a few months ago and I figured now would be a good time to "air it out."
On June 6 of last year, nealry 33 of our Senators voted against English as America's official language when they said NO to the amendment 1348.
In a recent poll, 92% of the United States, both democrats and republicans, want english as the official language.
Yet our democratic representatives (and 1 spineless republican) sold us out to the far left wing of their party. We have been had, we have been taken and we have been made into victims of the same old self serving political agendas that the Democrats are so infamous for)

While people like Napalm and Barry post on this site hoping their voices are heard by a few other like-minded individuals who frequent this site...
A voice like mine is being represented by the great senators of this nation. This email is a great example of the fact that my voice is being heard, even without a legal vote. How does that make Napalm feel when his voice falls on deaf ears? Napalm can post all these amazingly distorted facts and myths about illegal immigration, yet he is a nobody. Where is his representation? Even the hillbillies and hippies up in Washington State are represented by Cantwell and Murray.
I am an illegal alien. As you all know from my postings a couple of months ago; I came into this country about 8 years ago and I have been doing professional landscaping ever since. My voice and other immigrants like mine have a voice in this great state of California. Boxer and Feinstein. Our voices are heard. Our needs are granted. ANd we dont even have a legal vote to contribute that to.
How great a nation is America when the legal citizens are muted out? It makes me wonder if this nation truly is a representation of the people, by the people?
